Fire Risk Assessments

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, it is a requirement that all commercial premises and communal areas of residential premises have a Fire Risk Assessment carried out.

There is no fixed period for reviewing a fire risk assessment but it is good practice to review it on an annual basis. If there have been significant changes to the premises which could affect the fire risk, then a review to the fire risk assessment should definitely be carried out.
